Our second Saturday seminar looks at American colonies on both coasts. Professor Alan Taylor will bolster your background knowledge as he explores the thesis of his book of the same name. Teachers will demonstrate model lessons they created.

The American History Academy is the Teaching American History Grant partnership with Solano County Office of Education, Solano Community College and The History Project at UC Davis.
The 8th-Grade Cohort will meet throughout the year engaging with faculty and discussing teaching practice. Session #3 will cover the the Era of Reform in the Northeast.
This is only open to teachers enrolled in the Solano County TAH program.
