Legacies of Liberty Orientation for SCUSD
4:00-6:30
This session is for 4th-, 5th-, and 8th- grade teachers in the Sacramento City Unified School District who have applied and been accepted to the Legacies of Liberty 2009-2010 program. Application deadline for this program has been extended to September 19th, 2009.
Program components include Supper Seminars featuring UCD historians and History project teacher-leaders, history Labs focused on application of content knowledge and strategies and collaboration through Lesson Study. Fellows who complete the school-year activities are eligible for an all- expenses-paid field study trip in summer.
