"Visions of Liberty and Self-Governance" is the theme for the second supper seminar in the series for San Juan teachers. We will explore this theme through an academic talk, a workshop with primary documents, a model lesson and lots of discussion.

World History Seminar Series: Modern Imperialism

Supidta Sen's research focuses on Modern India and the British India. At the third seminar, Prof Sen will provide a useful way to view the relationship between Britain and India during the tumultuous time of the British Raj. Carefully selected sources and scholarly articles will bolster background knowledge on this topic. You'll have the opportunity to discuss these sources and collaborate on teaching practices with like-minded colleagues.
