World History Seminar Series: Migrations and Diasporas

McClatchy HS Media Center

UCD historian David Biale is a leading scholar of Jewish intellectual and cultural history. During the fourth seminar, Professor Biale will discuss the Jewish diaspora in world history terms and compare it to other global demographic shifts.

Participants will prepare for a lively and relevant discussion by reading an article or two of David's choosing in advance of this session. In addition, we will analyze and discuss selected primary sources that may be relevant for classroom use.
