The History Project - University of California, Davis

Grants & Projects

In addition to serving the needs of individual teachers, the History Project partners with schools, districts and county offices of education to provide specific services. In many cases, HP has submitted grant proposals with local educational agencies. We also work with school, district and county officials to develop professional development plans including induction, NCLB compliance, and advanced certification. Contact us for more information about how we can tailor a program to meet your school's or district's needs.

“Mr. Pollard took ideas for guiding history instruction and incorporated them into full activities and discussions to make the history classroom more engaging while also using established techniques to develop critical thinking. I got more out of Mr. Pollard's classroom than just a chronological series of events that took place in the United States. I came out with an idea of why events took place the way they did, and what that means for all of us today.”
