We're Hiring an Ethnic Studies Coordinator
The Ethnic Studies Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to support the development and implementation of ethnic studies professional learning for K-12 teachers in schools served by the History Project. Specifically, the Coordinator will help strengthen the HP’s ethnic studies programs to support teachers, schools, and districts, who currently, or plan to, offer ethnic studies as a separate course and those who are integrating ethnic studies into other history-social science courses. The Coordinator reports to and receives general direction from the Director, but works with a great deal of independence. In addition, the coordinator works closely with the Director in the development and oversight of the full range of HP programming for the greater Sacramento region. This is a fiscal year appointment until June 30, 2022 with reappointment likely, but dependent on funding.
See the Job Posting. Applications accepted beginning June 4.
For full consideration, submit applications by June 21. Final Deadline June 30.
