The History Project at UC Davis offers professional learning programs for history-social science teachers through school-year workshops, summer institutes, and customized programming for school districts. These programs promote inquiry-based instruction aligned to state standards and frameworks and are designed to strengthen teacher capacity and develop teacher leadership in a collaborative, scholarly environment. The ultimate goal of our programs is to increase the content knowledge and discipline-specific literacy and thinking skills of all students.
