Content, Literacy, Inquiry, & Citizenship (CLIC) Project

Year 2: 2019-2020


The History Project at UC Davis and the Yolo and Sutter County Offices of Education will be hosting the Content, Literacy, Inquiry, Citizenship (CLIC) Project for a second year. Priority will go to educators who participated last year.  We will be taking a waiting list and hope to welcome new K-12 History-Social Science Teachers, Instructional Coaches, Administrators, and Paraprofessionals. 

In our second year, we will go into more depth and provide new resources on:

~ Content that is new to the Framework ~
Planning for HSS Framework implementation ~
~ Strategies to improve students' literacy ~
~ Focus on inquiry at the core of instruction ~
~ Methods to promote civic engagement ~
~ Networking ~


Location: Yolo County Office of Education, 1280 Santa Anita Court, Woodland, CA 95776

Dates: October 10, 2019 and January 14, 2020

Times: 9:00am - 3:00pm

Cost: FREE

Includes: Substitute reimbursement upto $200/day, coffee, lunch, and materials

Registration: Priority will go to participants from last year. We will take a waiting list once we reach capacity and for new educators. We hope to take all interested educators.
