Persian Viewpoints (6.4.5, 6.4.6, 7.1) IQ: What does the palace at Persepolis and the inscription at Behistun tell us about how the Persian rulers viewed their empire?

The conflict between Persia and Greece was a turning point for the Greek city-states, especially Athens. The study of the view points that led to this conflict allows students to examine how differing perspectives can lead societies into conflict. Students will be able to identify the viewpoints of both sides and determine how these views shaped their interactions and led to the PersianWars.
